Our household is paper towel free, has been for years. I keep a drawer of old t-shirts and rags for spills, but these, well I think they are divine. I would love to have these pretties sitting out for at least the counter spills. And I’ll save my drawer of rags for floor spills. I have a billion yards of flannel, I wonder how many snaps I have?
If this is really as easy and comfortable as the artist makes it sound, I’ll have thirty pairs before summer is out and with flip flops being only $4 at Wal-mart right now it looks like I am not exaggerating.at.all.
Finding this made my day. I have needed cushions for our outdoor dining set but even at Wal-mart they start at 30 dollars. Even with the purchasing of outdoor material I bet I could make these for about ten dollars each. heck yeah. Also noted int he comments section is to wrap each pillow in moisture repellent dust cover first.
I am not much of a plushie fan, (I blame the millions of mass produced ones in the thrift shops) But every now and again some hand made ones make me gush. This is one of those times. I adore these and it is very likely I will make a set for my little girl Wednesday. You can too with the free tutorial and pattern available HERE! Bonus points for making them with found/salvaged materials!
